Thị trường PVC Châu Á dao động quanh mức cao kỷ lục, nhưng tốc độ tăng chậm lại

Tại Châu Á, giá PVC nhập khẩu vẫn ở mức cao nhất mọi thời đại sau khi một nhà sản xuất lớn của Đài Loan định giá vào tháng Năm. Đã là lần tăng thứ 12 liên tiếp hàng tháng từ mức tăng lớn, lần này số tiền vừa phải hơn so với dự báo của thị trường .

Nhà sản xuất lớn đã áp dụng mức tăng mạnh 300 USD/tấn đối với giá chào PVC K67-68 sang thị trường châu Á trong tháng Tư trong khi tháng Năm chỉ tăng 30 USD/tấn.

Giá chào mới nhất của nhà sản xuất cho PVC K67-68 ở mức 1670 USD/tấn CIF Ấn Độ và 1540 USD/tấn CFR Trung Quốc, không có chiết khấu khối lượng.

Sức kháng cự ngày càng tăng, đặc biệt là ở Trung Quốc và Đông Nam Á, hoạt động thị trường chậm lại trong tháng lễ Ramadan và đợt bùng phát COVID-19 mới bùng phát ở Ấn Độ và Đông Nam Á được cho là một trong những yếu tố chính làm chậm tốc độ tăng giá.

Giá cao kỷ lục do nguồn cung hạn chế, chi phí vận chuyển cao

Chỉ số Giá ChemOrbis tiết lộ rằng mức trung bình hàng tuần của chào hàng PVC K67 nhập khẩu hiện đang đứng ở mức 1550 USD/tấn CIF Trung Quốc / Đông Nam Á và 1690 USD/tấn CIF Ấn Độ, cho thấy mức cao nhất kể từ kỷ lục từ năm 2008.

Một số nhà sản xuất Đông Bắc Á cũng tăng giá theo nhà sản xuất lớn Đài Loan, áp dụng mức tăng 30-40 USD/tấn đối với giá chào tháng Năm PVC K67 của họ cho các thị trường trong khu vực trong tuần này.

Việc thiếu cung cấp PVC K67 của Mỹ trong bối cảnh sản xuất bị gián đoạn liên quan đến mùa đông, cùng với việc ngừng hoạt động của nhà máy ở Châu Á đã khiến nguồn cung trong khu vực và toàn cầu thiếu hụt. Chi phí vận chuyển tập trung đã làm tăng thêm các vấn đề về nguồn cung, dẫn đến một đợt tăng khác, nhưng là những đợt tăng nhẹ.

Trong khi đó, liên quan đến việc không có chào hàng PVC K67 của Mỹ, một nguồn tin từ một nhà sản xuất Nhật Bản nhận xét: “Với nguồn cung PVC toàn cầu và khu vực có thể sẽ tiếp tục eo hẹp trong nửa đầu năm 2021, các nhà sản xuất tin rằng mức giá cao hơn sẽ được giữ vững. Chúng tôi cho rằng có thể có áp lực giảm đối với thị trường PVC toàn cầu và Châu Á trong tháng Bảy khi hàng hóa của Mỹ hướng đến Châu Á, cũng như các khu vực toàn cầu khác ”.

Nhà sản xuất Đài Loan vẫn chưa bán hết hàng ở Trung Quốc

Không giống như những tháng trước đó, nhà sản xuất lớn được cho là vẫn chưa bán hết phân bổ tháng Năm cho Trung Quốc vào thời điểm báo chí. Điều này phản ánh sự phản kháng ngày càng tăng từ phía người mua trong nước.

Mặc dù giá PVC nội địa Trung Quốc tuần này đã tăng nhẹ nhờ sự hỗ trợ từ xu hướng ổn định trên thị trường nhập khẩu, nhưng chúng đang có xu hướng giảm kể từ giữa tháng Ba do nhu cầu yếu.

Bên cạnh đó, một thương nhân đã báo cáo việc chào bán PVC K67 của Mỹ ở mức 1700 USD/tấn CIF, tiền mặt. Mức này cho thấy mức tăng đáng chú ý là 250 USD/tấn so với mức đầu tháng Ba. “Chúng tôi đang chờ khách hàng đặt giá. Ấn Độ vật lộn với làn sóng COVID 19 thứ 2

Thêm vào hoạt động thị trường đang chậm lại là sự bắt đầu của tháng Ramadan – tháng ăn chay của người Hồi giáo. 200 triệu người theo đạo Hồi của Ấn Độ cũng như các quốc gia láng giềng như Bangladesh và Pakistan đều nhịn ăn. Nó cũng được quan sát thấy ở Indonesia và Malaysia cũng như ở những người Hồi giáo ở các khu vực khác của Đông Nam Á.

Doanh nghiệp dự đoán nhu cầu ngày càng giảm từ khu vực trong mùa Ramadan, kéo dài một tháng và tiếp theo là ngày lễ Eid.

Trong khi đó, Thái Lan đang kỷ niệm ngày lễ Songkran (ngày lễ quốc gia năm mới của Thái Lan) trong tuần này, từ ngày 13 tháng Tư đến ngày 15 tháng Tư.
